Going into, rather coming out of yesterday's show, we were talking about how the season was

starting to shape up, what the roster might look like and what the expectations could be.

We discussed after the show kind of wanting to go through, you know,

the Central Division, Western Conference, who got better, who got worse.

There's still moves to be had, obviously, throughout the league,

but a lot of business has already been done, especially for the Blackhawks.

They're already done.

A little bit of business that literally just got done as we opened the show.

Nikolai Eelers officially going to the Carolina Hurricanes.

Looks like it's a six-year deal, eight and a half million per year?

I mean, this was something we knew was going to probably happen a long time ago, but

listen, once Brock Besser re-signed with Vancouver, there was no rush for Eilers to sign

anywhere, even if this was the original deal he had, say, on July 1st.

Right.

There was no reason you can't wait it out, see what the Washington Capitals want to give you.

Hurricanes had a ton of cap space coming into this offseason.
