In 2 1/2 years, the parental rights group 'Moms For Liberty' has gained mass traction — from starting with two chapters in Florida to now having 300 across 45 states. Their rapid growth has garnered attention from many influential Republican presidential candidates, including former President Donald Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. Though, with this expansion comes an uptick in criticism from sources like the Southern Poverty Law Center, which recently included the parental rights organization in their annual "Year In Hate & Extremism" report, alleging the group to be an "anti-student inclusion movement." Moms For Liberty co-founder Tina Descovich says this couldn't be farther from the truth. Descovich joins the Rundown to discuss how her members consider themselves "joyful warriors" fighting for improved public education, not exclusion, and why she and fellow members believe there are "a number of reasons" why key Republican leaders could be vying to gain the organization's favor.
