We were just talking about the combine and the quarterbacks and everything that's going on with the NFL.

And there to me is much more momentum for the Giants to make a big move at quarterback than just pick one of the guys off the scrap heap.

Because the way that John Marrett, at the end of the season, explain the situation,

he put those guys on notice.

I mean, that was more than a hot seat.

I mean, this was like basically putting in front of the firing squad or just waiting for him to say, shoot.

So they have to do something.

They've got to win games.

And there's two ways for them to do that and keep their jobs.

And one is to draft one of these young quarterbacks and it turns out to be Jaden Daniels or something like that.

Neither one of these guys is that.

Well, right, probably not.

But that's one way for them to keep their jobs is if that happens.

And the other thing is to swing a deal for Matthew Stafford, I think still has a lot in the tank.

And they go and they compete and maybe they win nine, ten games.

And hey, look, you know, we snuck into the playoffs.

We got a wild card.

You know, the organization got the stink off it from last year being one of the worst seasons we've ever had in our history.

And now these guys, we got it going in the right direction.

That's the only way they keep their jobs.

I mean, they can't bring in Jimmy Garoppolo next year or whoever to hell else is out there, cousins or whomever.

So the Giants have the 34th and 65th picks.
