Now that Trump has lost his bid for the presidency, Americans are looking at how to come together. However social media, particularly Facebook, could be a stumbling block in our way. The algorithms used to make the website so addicting, also have the effect of group polarization, could social media divide America further? Is your news feed filled with people who agree with you? People who share the same opinions? Do you get into heated debates online? Is Facebook setting us up for more division even after we get Trump out - and how can we stop it?
