Right, on Monday, David, you broke the story of West Ham, who are in talks with Ruben Amarim, the Sporting Lisbon manager, who is also a candidate for the Liverpool job as well. Right, before we go into the Liverpool ankle,

first of all, talk to us about how on earth West Ham got involved in all of this.

to steal a march on the likes of Liverpool and anybody else who are interested in Ruben Amarim.

And they held conversations. They conducted talks with his camp and it seemed that

very quickly they made him their top target if they are to part with David Moyes this summer.

Now, naturally it could happen because he's out of contract in June. But no decision will be made

by West Ham or by David Moyes until the end of the campaign,

which has been their line throughout. And just before recording this podcast, that was reiterated

to me. They are duty-bound, therefore, to go about contingency planning for the event of

David Moy's leaving. And that's where Amarim has come into play. It's bold, it's ambitious,

and if the images of him flying over from Portugal to London yesterday are anything to go by,
