Alex Jones got hit with a billion dollar roughly, penalty for the lies,

the the defamatory lies that he told about the Sandy Hook families.

Telling his listeners and making apparently he's apparently worth about 240 million dollars

of press reports are to be believed, you know, which is just breathtaking. I mean, I'm in this

business and I had no idea that you could make that kind of money if you were a right-winger,

hustling vitamin products and you know, it's just that, I mean, that's just breathtaking.

They hit him with this huge penalty and it raises an interesting question.

I mean, the victims of Alex Jones's lies are identifiable, right? There's there's 20 children

and six adults who were murdered at Sandy Hook. The families of those people are the victims of

Jones's lies. So we know who they are. But I think this raises a really vital question.

When are the victims of the oil companies' lies?

Lies that the fossil fuel industry has been peddling intentionally, knowing the damage that

their products would cause, has been intentionally peddling since the 1980s, since the Reagan

administration. When will the victims of the oil companies' lies have their day in court?
