0:30.4	Let's start with my reaction from Ohio State's conference call on Saturday with athletic
0:36.0	director Gene Smith, head coach Ryan Day, and physician Dr. James Borcher is the lead physician at Ohio State. I was optimistic. My takeaway was optimism. They seem to think that they have a relatively good chance of playing this Saturday at Michigan State which is
0:54.1	fantastic news because I think a lot of people assumed when the Illinois game
0:58.1	was canceled two days ago that the Michigan State game would also be called off.
1:02.6	But as it turns out, Ohio State was only over one of the two areas of threshold
1:07.5	that the big tennis set up for COVID-19 without getting into the weeds.
1:12.4	With all of that.
1:13.2	Basically, they could have played the gamer at least tried
1:16.9	according to Gene Smith, but they didn't think it was the right thing to do.
1:20.2	They had more positive tests on Friday,
1:21.9	including head coach Ryan Day. So they thought the best thing to do both for their program and for Illinois was to
1:29.2	Pause and hopefully get the last two games in and we'll get into what all that means in a moment,

1:35.8	we're only five days away from the next game now,
1:37.7	so hopefully let's get this one in.
1:38.9	And I'm optimistic.
1:40.9	We're gonna have a chance, hopefully tomorrow to speak with some people at Ohio State usually Ryan Day has a press conference
1:46.4	They might push that back this week. We shall see but hopefully coach day is doing well. Hopefully the young men that were infected with the coronavirus are doing okay.
