Back on Puck, I talk Steve Amin, Nathan Baird, Andrew Killis, and we have a starting quarterback. Again, kind of. Ryan Day officially named one of these two guys

starting quarterback that's been an ongoing battle that has gone into the season between Kyle McCord and Depp and Brown, where both have played and wins over Youngstown State, Indiana Nathan.

One of those guys is now officially getting all the starter reps. Who is that person?

Well, if you don't know by now, because listen to this on Wednesday morning, Wednesday morning, get the text, yes.

I don't know what sort of remote hillside cave you're living in that you haven't heard that Kamal Court is a starting quarterback by now, but it's come court, which has been, listen, he started both of first two games.

He was playing the majority of possessions. He was winning. It was going to be Kamal Court.

I think the only question coming into today, Tuesday, as we're recording this, not Wednesday as you're listening to us, was whether Ryan Day would actually put the words out into the air that he was starting.

And I don't think there's a major secret here that had to be protected. I guess you could have done it for gamesmanship.

It was clear that Ryan Day sees exponential benefit to naming Kamal Court the starter.

I think the timing of this makes sense in the long run that you take this into the season. You wanted to see more.

You want to see Devon Brown in real games. And when you did, it still showed you that Kamal Court was the better option right now.

But make the choice right now so that your team knows who the starting quarterback is.

And so that your starting quarterback can have all the reps he needs for the next two weeks to try to beat Notre Dame.

So Andrew Kamal Court has technically been the starting quarterback in quotes because he started the last two games.

Devon Brown has played, but in Devon Brown played more snaps than Kamal Court in the last game.

But that's because he played some of the garbage snaps. It was 36 to 30. I believe in Devon Brown's favor.

But Kamal Court has played more series. So based off what we heard from Ryan Day on Tuesday, what is actually changing?

It's about practice like they're getting somebody has to command this offense full time for the next two weeks because this offense isn't good enough right now.
