Summary

Could one officer's alleged bias unravel the entire Karen Read case? As the disciplinary hearing for Michael Proctor approaches, the looming shadow of his actions raises questions about the integrity of the investigation. From questionable police work to a community steeped in tradition, this episode explores the cracks in a case that should have been straightforward but instead spiraled into complexity. What happens when an investigator's credibility is called into question? Could his alleged misconduct tip the scales of justice in other high-profile cases, like Sandra Birchmore or Brian Walsh? And will the fallout from Proctor’s hearing ultimately impact the Karen Read trial? With a mix of cold facts and unsettling implications, we dive deep into the murky waters of trust in law enforcement.

How much damage can one alleged "Proctor Factor" do?

The other overwhelming shade of gray that looms over the Karen Reed trial, man named Michael Proctor, who's going to be having his final disciplinary hearing coming up this next week, very likely to lose his job in that process.

work look very, very questionable. Are we going to have that same problem, round two?

1:23.6

We're going to have that same problem. I still think the prosecution should put him on, you know, midway through the trial. Certainly don't let the defense put him on and, you know, let that happen and look like the prosecution was hiding it. So they're going to have to have him on.
