Hey, how much time have you spent outside today?

Hopefully you're outside right now, but if you're not, I just want to say it's more important

than ever to get outdoors, breathe some fresh air, take a break, and enjoy some sunshine.

But according to a survey done by the EPA, the average American spends 93% of their time

indoors, either in enclosed buildings or enclosed vehicles.

Ugh, one thing I want to mention immediately is that the air quality is stuffy and terrible.

There's a lot of off-gassing in cars, rooms, carpets, paints, things like that.

It's not good to be breathing that bad air, it shaves years off your life.

So spending all this time in that stuffy air is actually doing more harm than most of

us realize.

And connection to nature shouldn't be something that's seen as dispensable, something that

we could have or not have.

It's an essential part of who we are.

We are part of nature itself, and it's essential to a high quality of life, health, social

well-being, prosperity, and productivity.

It helps us feel actually connected to something, like we're part of something.

So to help us sort all this out and keep things in perspective, we're here with one of my

very good friends and former cross-country teammate from high school back in New Hampshire.
