I wanted to share with you a thought.

I think I have to be very careful in how I word this.

And the question, will Liz Cheney be the one who saves the Republican Party?

Now, originally, I wanted to ask the question, will Liz Cheney be the one who saves the country?

But obviously, it needs to go away beyond Liz Cheney and I have no illusions that Liz Cheney is

anything other than your standard issue, pre-Trump Republican.

In other words, you know, not all that worried about climate change or anything else and

and, you know, there for the billionaires and yes, let's have another war and all that kind of

stuff right that the Republicans are all about. But a day before yesterday, Liz Cheney gave a speech

at the Reagan Library that got a standing ovation from a group of Republicans.

And I think this is a moment that you and I and the rest of America are going to look back on

probably next December, after the elections, after the November elections, maybe in 2005,

after the 2004 presidential elections. I'm not sure how rapidly the Republican Party is going

to change. But I think that this speech that Liz Cheney gave yesterday or day before yesterday

...
