Thank you for joining us again on Cranic Company. We have an update on a

Heisman winner that we picked for some of us and an injury. And that's John Mateer coming off the

big win against Auburn at home. Wasn't sexy, but it worked out, kind of like the story of my

whole life. But now we're learning that he's going to have

to have thumb surgery on his throwing hand, and we couldn't think of a better person to bring on.

And the guy we've had on before to talk some Oklahoma football, Eddie Radisovic from On3

Gentlemen, thank you. I wish I came with better news for Oklahoma fans, but yeah, certainly an interesting day coming out of the Auburn weekend, and it's all about kind of moving forward.

If you were going to have this injury, I guess, like nobody wants to have an injury on a team specifically at the quarterback position.

The next couple weeks are a nice ramp up

with the buy week coming up, and certainly to get Michael Hawkins ready to go against Kent State

come next week. Yeah, well, who knew that Michael Hawkins last year was just getting ready to hold

firm while John Mateer got hurt this year with the playing time? But specifically, it's his throwing hand thumb,

right? My two questions for you. One, did it happen in the first quarter against Auburn,

which as an Auburn fan is sickening if it did? And then second off, what exactly did he do?

Is it a tendon? Is it a bone? Like, like what is it? Do we know? Yeah. So we think it happened

with like the 920 mark of the first quarter.
