He went and put the team on his back.

31 of their 94 shots he took and he scored 30 points.

A massive, massive run in the second quarter for him.

A huge 13 point explosion in the fourth quarter.

There was absolutely massive, some clutch clutch buckets for Jalen Brunson.

And he has become this type of player that you just can't stop.

You put people in front of him and it doesn't matter.

Carter Bryant is trying his hardest out there to guard Jalen Brunson.

You can put anybody in front of him and he just has this herky jerky, great footwork. We were talking on the Lockdown NBA stream if you listen and watch that one. It was a really great time. Matt Moore and Wes and I were talking about who has the best footwork in the NBA? And they were like, it's Jalen Brunson, bar none, which is absolutely insane and incredible for a guy that comes into the NBA.

I think he's six foot, maybe six one.

And he has to have those other types of skills in order to be as good as he is.

And he's three wins away from being an NBA champion, from winning finals MVP and taking the Knicks back

to the top for the first time since the 70s. This city is going to explode if they win an NBA

title. 50 years it's been since they won an NBA title back when Willis Reed was coming out hobbled. And Jalen Munson will be a legend. He'll be a New York Knicks legend. And he will be one of the all-time greats. He will get a statue if they win three more games. Literally just three more games. Three more sets of 48 minutes, they've got to score more points than the San Antonio Spurs. That's how close it is right now. To Jalen Brunson, just being an all-time Knicks legend. Absolutely insane. And if you're the Mavericks, you look at this, you look at the situation, you go, oh my God, it's getting brought up over and over again. If you're a Mabbs fan and listening to this, you are one. You have seen the pictures of,

oh my gosh, I can't believe the Mabbs fumbled this with Luca and Brunson. I'm not going to relitigate

the whole thing about the mistake with Jalen Brunson. We know what it was. The mistake happened on

several different fronts. One of them, Donnie Nelson decided to give Jalen Brunson a different kind of two second round pick contracts so that it was shorter, wasn't restricted at the end so they could pay him less money and maybe get out of the deal quicker if they didn't fully really, like, believe in Jalen Brunsen at the time. And so then he wasn't a restricted free agent at the end of the deal. He was able to go to the Knicks for basically nothing. They didn't give him the full max when Mark Cuban said, hey, we can give him more money than anything after that Mavs 2020 run to the Western Commerance finals. And they didn't end up offering him the Max. They said, oh, we never go to a chance to offer him the Max. I'm sure you can get a message to Jalen Brunson if he needed to. But Jalen Bruns was going to go to the Knicks.

It was, like, it was wrote in the stars, in the sand, and whatever you want to say. His dad went and became an assistant coach for the Knicks. He was hired by the Knicks. His dad played for the Knicks back in the day. It's one of Jalen Brunson's dreams. I don't think you were prying him away from that dream

that it was just so close right there.
