Well, increasing tensions with North Korea get out of control.

Hello again, I'm Arminolny, and this is To the Point from Public Radio International,

a daily look at the issues Americans care about most. Since December, North Korea's new leader has been escalating threats of nuclear warfare,

provoking response from his neighbors. South Korea wants to upgrade its nuclear technology. Japan

sounds increasingly militaristic, and China is openly angry. The U.S. is conducting military

exercises with B-2 bombers and guided missile

destroyers. Now, the Obama White House appears to be having second thoughts. Is there a danger

of turning North Korea's rhetoric into reality? On reporter's notebook later on, can Native Americans

stop the sale of their sacred items next week in Paris.
