It hasn't even been 24 hours since Trump was indicted,

and already we're looking at a showdown for the ages.

Trump's clown car of a legal team is looking to make hay while Judge Cannon still presides over the case by throwing a litany of fucking bullshit motions in front of the court,

all in an attempt to derail the prosecution. Among the first actions will likely be a procedural

motion that pieces of evidence be excluded

because they were obtained from notes taken by Trump's lawyer Evan Cochran and should be covered

by attorney-client confidentiality. A federal court and federal appeals court have already ruled on the effort, but Trump's team

may be able to get away with his new judge, Eileen Cannon, to throw it out of court.

This will prove to be a litmus test on how much Cannon is in Trump's pocket.

Cannon, a Trump appointee, confirmed to the federal bench just days after Trump lost his reelection bid, ruled differentially for Trump last summer when he contested the FBI seizure of some of the very documents that we're talking about.

And legal experts described Cannon's pro-Trump rulings at the time as fucking insane and even lawless.

And a conservative appeals court panel, which itself consisted of two other Trump appointees, quickly overruled her.

Now, according to the New York Times, in that case, she shocked legal experts across the ideological
