Has being a senator made you more cynical or more hopeful?

I just, it reminds that sometimes it's, there are votes that really matter,

or standing on the right side of specific issues.

For me is Israel and the Jewish community.

You know, part of the struggle that I've had within the Democratic Party

is how things continue to back away and move away from Israel and standing and calling out anti-Semitism and refusing to criticize and hold those people engaging in this behavior and call them out.

Oh, yeah, well, the day we're filming this, that was the fourth

anniversary of the stroke that ended my life briefly. Yeah, four years ago today, just, yeah,

on this day. I was on my way to a campaign event in Lancaster County and then suddenly,

Giselle looked at me and said, I think you're having a stroke.

Would you rather never win another election or the Steelers never win another Super Bowl?

Oh, well, that's, that's Apo. That's Apo kind of stuff.

You know, it's like, well, the Steelers have won six. They've won six. They have six.

So I haven't won six elections yet. I would say I'm going to hedge and saying, you know, we, we, you know, more, more wins.
