0:06.8	excited this week to have two guests on, Scott Burns and Ian Lipkin. I'm going to let them introduce themselves very quickly
0:14.4	Scott let's begin with you and why you're here today.
0:18.0	I am Scott Burns I am a filmmaker and I'm here today because about 10 or 11 years ago I was the screenwriter on the film Contagion which is how I met Dr Ian Littkin.

0:35.6	I'm a professor of epidemiology, neurology, and pathology at the
0:40.0	Mamma School of Public Health, and I'm here because several years ago I worked with Scott
0:45.4	and helping to build this film.

0:51.1	but we will get there. Ian, I'm going to begin with you so you actually
0:55.4	have coronavirus and I want to see how you're doing how far into it you are and
1:01.2	how much of a realization it was that if anyone could get it if someone like you could get it.
1:08.0	Can you tell us a little bit about that?
1:10.0	Well I was exposed a little over two weeks ago and I was quite ill for several days.
1:16.4	Today is actually the first day that I really feel as though I've rallied and come out the
1:20.9	other end.
1:21.9	It's a rugged disease.
1:24.0	When one of the things that I've heard about from people who have had it
1:28.0	and it's of course hits everyone differently is that there are certain days where you feel better and then the next day you feel worse and is you kind
1:34.0	kind of do you know if you're through it a little bit or is it just you only time will tell?
1:38.0	Well I had I had a more consistent course I became you know I had more and more disease over
1:45.9	a period about three or four days the whole thing really began with a cough
