Welcome back to the Dershow from Miami Beach, Florida, a study new development today in

the issue of classified material.

It turns out that on November 2nd, about a week before the midterm elections, President

Biden's lawyers discovered apparently classified national security material in a lock closet

in a private non-secure office, lock closet, non-secure office in Washington, D.C. and

called the archives and turned the material over.

Now a lot of people are asking what impact will this have on the possible prosecution

of Donald Trump, and it's clearly a knife that cuts both ways, and I'll explain in a minute.

But the one thing that's a little unclear, and even the New York Times, which we know what

side it's on and it's reporting, even the New York Times reporter follows, the White House

statement said it is cooperating with the Department, Justice Department, but did not explain

why Mr. Biden's team waited more than two months to announce the discovery of the documents,

which came a week before the midterm congressional elections, when the news could have been

an explosive last minute development.

So that's going to be a really interesting issue to explore the timing.

Timing is everything.

Remember what happened with Hillary Clinton and the timing of her election, the statement

by the former director of the FBI just days before the election that they're not going to prosecute her,

but that what she did was wrong and irresponsible, etc.

And he was much criticized for the timing just before the election now.

I'm sure that the Justice Department will be criticized, it would be criticized either way.

If they had disclosed that sometime between November 2nd and the election week later,
