Today is Tuesday, I'm recording on Tuesday, October 15th in the afternoon.

Happens to be the first day of early voting in Georgia. Why do I single out Georgia?

Because later in this podcast you're going to hear a conversation that I just recorded with Brad

Rapids Berger he's of course the Secretary of State of Georgia he has become in

many ways at least into the political university household name at many over in many overseers of

overseers of elections become household names but not many people did

what Donald Trump did in 2020 particularly to the state of Georgia when it came to questioning election results.

And I do think you will hear a very transparent, I think very, you know,

cogent explanation of everything they've tried to do to

continue to build trust with the community that their election systems as

safe today as it was four years ago as it's been this whole time.

But it's an important conversation and there's definitely been a lot of

safe guards that have been put into place.

And he actually has a few other ideas that he'd like to see various jurisdictions

consider. So I do think if you were concerned about the vote itself, I do

encourage you to listen to this conversation because it should

reassure you. It should give you faith here and I do have a lot of faith that

the mechanics of this election are going to be are going to be intentionally as transparent and as well run as possible.

That doesn't mean there won't be bad actors trying to create stories where there are none. But before we get to my conversation with Brad
