Quinn is the author of Google Glass and a freelance writer who formerly worked at Mel.

Now, as you know, a lot of these tech companies have been pushing glasses with cameras or

the prospect of AR glasses recently. Snapchat's glasses have been out for a while. Facebook released its stories glasses with Rayban

and says that they're working on more advanced AR glasses that will be coming down the road.

And of course, there's constant rumors that Apple is going to be releasing its own AR glasses sometime in the future.

You know, we don't know exactly when yet, and there are some reports that,

you know, maybe this isn't going as well as some of the rumors would have us believe, but we'll

see what happens there. But in the midst of all of that kind of excitement, which is wrapped up in

this broader metaverse hype that has been happening for the past, you know, couple of years now,
