What we're going to be talking about today is whether or not the United States actually has the capacity or the capability to lead in the 21st century.

And the reason why this is such an important question is because, as Christian and I have discussed multiple times, along with Tina and Hamilton, the United States is not in the best shape.

And there's a lot of people that feel very, very pessimistic about the direction of the country and for good reason. When you look at inflation,

when you look at housing, when you look at the stuff that's showing up in our school system,

when you look at the cultural issues that we're facing, there are a lot of reasons to be

frustrated about the current state of the United States. And there is no shortage of geopolitical

experts that will tell you that not only is the United States in decline, but that we

deserve to be, that we deserve to be horrible patriarchal exploiters that we are. And so they have

predicted for a while now that going into the 21st century that this would not be another

American century, that we would basically losing our place as the economic, military, and global

hegemon, and we would be replaced either by

China or maybe the EU or maybe by the BRICS system.

And so today we're going to analyze whether or not that's true.

We're going to look at some numbers that should indicate to us on whether or not the United

States is still in a position to lead in the 21st century, provided that we can get our crap together.
