So the way this works, at 4 o'clock Eastern today, the league business day ends.

At 401, a trade can be done and communicated to the league office.

Now, it doesn't get processed.

It's not official until tomorrow.

But that's when the window opens to actually do the deal.

Both sides put the key in and turn the key and make it officially done and binding between the two teams.

Anything before that isn't binding.
