| 0:51.6 | But busing isn't a real issue anymore, is it? Well, people have not talked about |
| 0:59.7 | busing as a viable policy for a long time and the reason they have it is because |
| 1:06.4 | busing is extremely unpopular if you look at polling and even if you break it down by all sorts of different groups it always has |
| 1:15.7 | very high negatives and if you look at the general public the general public very |
| 1:20.8 | large majority for a very long time has opposed busing and it's |
| 1:24.8 | really opposed any sort of school assignment that takes people away from |
| 1:30.4 | their nearby neighborhood public school. |
| 1:33.0 | That said, there's absolutely a continuing legitimate concern |
| 1:39.0 | that African Americans in particular are not able to access good education. |
| 1:46.4 | Bussing isn't the way I think to deal with that, but at least that is a legitimate issue. |
| 1:51.6 | It is certainly also the case of that it seems at least a lot of |
| 1:55.1 | this is really kind of aimed at let's take down the front runner was Joe Biden. |
