Go with me to Genesis 24, which is where we've been quite a few times this weekend.

And I feel as though the Holy Spirit showed me in preparation for this.

I had been studying some things for a significant period of time on Hannah and on Samuel.

And in relation to a word that Bobby Limley shared with us a week ago and a dream that God had given Matt Putman,

I felt it was going to be at some point time to go into this revelation concerning Samuel and Hannah, but I don't feel like it's right

yet. And so what I feel to do is to go back into Genesis 24, and I feel like the Lord's

giving me some things in relationship to Rebecca Bethuel and Laban. And I'm going to share some of

those things with you. So some of what we've already heard, I'll review it, it but I want to review it I've completely rewritten all of the notes so none of these are

on the original notes so I've got about nine and a half pages here I warned Tammy to tell the babysitters

it was going to be a late night tonight so Chris Massingale where are you this may be our four-hour

teaching night tonight.

We may make it.

But I've rewritten it because I'm beginning to see all of it in light of leadership.

One of the common threads in so many of the 117 or 119, whatever the final numbers are of people

that have moved in to be a part of our family in the last six months.

It's either 117 now or 119, is that so many of you were functioning in leadership where you were previously. And now you're going through a real adoption scenario, which moves you into a real

formlessness. And the challenge we've, this is repeat for us, but we really need to hear it.

The challenge in being re-identified is the season where you're without identity.

So you go from misidentification to no identification on the way to appropriate identification.

And everybody would be happy as we went from no identification to right identification.

It's that, I'm sorry, from misidentification to appropriate identification.
