We're back, all of us from different places,

Bow Hunting Elk in Colorado this last week,

but as I explained, this is not a hunting podcast.

This is, we are discovering things out there that are

immensely relevant to whole-heartedness and to our hour and to the things that souls are enduring right now and what we would call

normal life that we just kind of want to share and say hey guess what we just discovered folks

you know and here's what we're learning.

So that's the spirit of this and if you haven't listened to part one, you might want to do that and

So I think it was the second evening we were out and we had so blasted ourselves.

So the first day it's get up in the dark, climb this really steep bluff behind the cabin, hike and then sit in glass as dawn is coming.

You're listening for bugling elk and you're looking, you know, across nature and these valleys and stuff for elk and nothing, nothing,

nothing, and a lot of it's nothing, you know, a lot of it's just sitting and

and then we see one, we do see an elk, because this last elk slipping into these aspens

on the base of a mountain,

across the valley from us.

And it is two miles to get there to this thing.

And so the next four hours is this incredibly exhausting story of getting there and getting

through the woods and getting really close and having this incredible
