We are motorsports writers at the Athletic, and we're here to talk about the Watkins Glen race.

The first playoff race, Jordan, according to Seth Eggert, the first ever NASCAR playoff race in any series,

any of the three series that did not have a playoff driver in the top five.

How about that for a wildcard race?

We thought this round was going to be wild and chaotic and unpredictable.

Certainly fit the bill today at Atlanta, or at Walkins Glen, wild, chaotic,

playoff drivers galore having issues, guys not in the playoffs, rising up and having great days.

I thought this was a terrific race and that

whether it was a playoffs or not i just thought this was one of the better road course races we

have seen in the next gen era well yeah of course of course you of course you captain chaos

thinks that it was a good but even before that i mean the finish itself was great i mean

but this was good.

I mean, you saw guys make passes.

Was it the number of passes you want?

No, but it was more passing than we've seen else other ways.

We didn't talk how many times during this race or do we go back and forth.
