What's up, Laker fans? Welcome to the Laker Film Room podcast. I'm Pete, joined by Darius and Mike. And the Lakers got a hard-fought win on Saturday in New York. Really fun game. Teams came out in the first quarter. neither team could hit the side of a barn with the jump shot, but very competitive.

Lakers pulled ahead a bit in the beginning parts of the second quarter. Bench played really well.

Can't wait to talk about Max and Jackson Hayes with you guys.

High game at halftime. The Knicks come out and have a strong third quarter. Lakers have a real

hard time guarding Jalen Brunson. Obviously, Lakers without their three top point of attack defenders. And in the fourth quarter, Lakers have a real hard time guarding Jalen Brunson. Obviously, Lakers without their

three top point of attack defenders. And in the fourth quarter, Lakers spring a trap on them,

and they start helping in isolation. Lakers were switching a ton. Nix kept choosing Austin Reeves.

Then Tore and Prince would come over and double. And Lakers did a phenomenal job of rotating

on the backline,

held the next scoreless for about six minutes and 30 seconds until the game was basically over.

And so the Lakers get a win.

And somehow, Mike, we are a game in Charlotte away from a four and two road trip out of

freaking nowhere on the Grammy trip, really one of the more memorable Grammy trips that I can remember.
