Hi everyone and welcome to episode 56 of the holding court podcast.

Today is a little bit unplanned, but we have to talk about the wildcard game last night.

So Justin and I are going to give all of our thoughts and feelings and everything in between about last night's crazy game.

That was so cruel, but fun.

Well, now I can say that.

In the moment I go through, as you you know such a roller coaster and i often

wonder if because sometimes i wonder if you ever look up and where i was sitting last night

happened to be in the front which is rare um i'm normally in like the second row the third row

because normally starting pitchers wives wives are in the front,

and Erica was down below. And so I was in the front. And so I always think if he looks up at me and I look stressed or I have like my face in my hands or something like that, I just want

to make sure I look calm and collected because I know. That's actually what I need to stay calm

and collected out there. I need validation from you. I'm like, okay, Courtney's not panicking. We're good. We got this. I'd like to think that. Honestly, it's funny because I talk a lot during the gate. Well, I say a lot of things. Like you feel the ball at third. and is that even what you say feel the ball at third

and I'm like all right baby nice and easy and then I'm like yes and I honestly in my mind I'm like

making sure that you're throwing it nice and easy and wonderfully and getting me out and you are and so

in my mind I do that to everyone I'll be like all right this is yours this is yours. Okay, right here, we need one more. Go at him. Like, just little things. And I have zero control over the game. And I almost think it's easier for you guys because you at least have some sort of a hand in it. I mean, a big hand in it, all of the hands in it. But I like to think that I have a little, a little bit in it too. No,

we've talked about it before. It's definitely a little easier for us because, you know, we're in it and we're out there competing and, you know, have, you know, a little bit of say on the outcome. It's a lot more difficult for you guys sitting in the stands watching and just

have to hope everything goes well and, you know, someone gets the big hit or someone doesn't make

a mistake or like that. So that's a lot harder. And like not only for you guys, but like thinking
