Hello and welcome to the Monday edition of Inside the Huddle. My name is Neil Reynolds, and joining me to look back on a wild card round of the NFL playoffs and a really wild weekend.

My BBC radio commentary partner, Greg, Greg, we're just about thawing out from our game. We're just just hours removed from the Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers at Lincoln Financial Field. But what a wild weekend.

People haven't had enough of us after four straight live hours.

So, yeah, we thought we continued.

But yeah, you look at the mix, and we mentioned a lot during the broadcast.

Three road teams winning this weekend.

Pretty common for a couple to win.

I think the last three years, the road teams were two and two, the opening weekend.

But the one lone surviving team that wins at home is the team that nobody wanted to see in the playoffs except their fans, and that's Seattle.

So it makes for an exciting week, and let's face it, I think we had three of the four games really go down to the last two or three minutes, even counting the New Orleans game,

because that wasn't even decided until the big Marshawn Lynch touchdown run.

Yeah, absolutely. Let's get to the Packers and the Eagles in a minute, but let's start with the Seahawks.

And no one gave them the chance.

It was 41-36 over the Super Bowl champions, the New Orleans Saints.

And really a tough start for Seattle as well.

They fell behind 10-0, then they fell behind 17-7, but there was no quit in that team. Well, we saw it today in Philly. Your crowd can

really get dimly put out of it in the first several minutes when he give up some early points like

the Eagles did today. And I thought, yeah, Seattle fans are thinking, this is great. We have a game.

It's nice to be here, but we're done after today. And the team didn't really feel that way. I think the fans would have

reflected the personality and the mood of the team. Had the team sort of come out, you know, flat.

And they had a great response after it became 10-0. They held Breeze to a field goal early on,

long touchdown, which was deserving because Drew Breeze is that great quarterback. But yeah, Seattle just, they took advantage of, we talked about some of the New Orleans injuries yesterday off air.
