Turns out a crime novel that came out this spring.

The Cuckoo's Calling.

Was written by the Harry Potter author under a pen name.

And it earned rave reviews from readers and critics.

And none of them knew it was written by a fancy, famous writer.

So it got judged just on its own merits.

It's brilliant, totally brilliant.

I love that she did this.
