and today I'm chatting with Haley Morgan.

God gave me these children to Shepherd.

He did not give them to me to put through some like amazing Christian machine that's

gonna pop out amazing Christian children.

Like if that was guaranteed to me that would be amazing.

But it's not and I am more responsible for my own soul with the Lord than I am to popping

out like these shiny Christian children.

So just being able to say like ultimately my responsibility is to stay tethered to Christ

and to choose that and to choose to rest in that because ultimately like that would be

my hope for my children is that they could do that too and that by me resting and me

yielding to the Lord like that gives them a better idea than any rigorous like parenting

protocol I would put them through.

You don't feel like you're too much or you're not enough.

I know women we tend to either be insecure that we're not measuring up or we feel like

oh man we're too much of a mess to be dealt with and it keeps us from actually walking

in the calling gods has for us.

Today I'm chatting with Haley Morgan she recently co-authored a book with Jess Connolly called

Wild and Free and it comes out May 3rd.

So Haley and I talk a little bit about being a boy mom and we also spend some time on

friendships since she and Jess co-authored this book but they've also started businesses

together they've been in a friendship for a long time.
