Our cases this week both involve deadly love trying. a affair with her boyfriend and then she fled to Costa Rica and avoided capture for nearly six weeks.

Well, her trial started this week, but she almost got away again.

She managed to get out of custody and run away days before trial was

set to begin. But first, a British woman receives India's harshest punishment

after a conviction for the murder of her husband.

While the murder was unspeakably evil,

occurring in front of their nine-year-old son,

the judge took special offense

at how the woman treated her mother-in-law during the trial and made

her pay for that at sentencing. The judge said that he did it for all the mothers out there.

The defense shot back saying, if we hanged every woman in India for abusing her

mother-in-law there wouldn't be many of them left. We are recording this on
