Now today's first story comes from a throw away account from

the Relationship Advice subreddit and it says, I Mail 40 got into an argument with my wife,

female 39, because I don't take initiative in life. How do I learn to take the lead and not be a

passenger in my own life? We've been together

for almost 20 years, married for 15, grown kid. We're on vacation and I had not planned anything

I really wanted to see. Well, it was a working vacation. She was going to training and had driven

us there to go along. When the weekend came,

she asked what I would like to do. I had not really planned or looked into anything and she got

a little irritated. This led to an argument, I guess more of event session than an argument.

I didn't really say much back to be honest. She said I need to be more proactive

and to take the lead more in our lives and not be a passenger along for the ride, pointing how

I rarely pick movies to watch or how I had not even bothered to look up any places to eat or

things to do around the city we were in. This went on for a little while and she said it gets

old to having a cardboard cut out of a husband and that she wants a person who has opinions and is

curious about the world. Not just a long for the ride. I will admit I had not thought of things

to do while we're on this trip and I could have. I had lots of spare time

the day she did the training. We didn't really talk much to the drive home. I think this has been
