true crime right now just premiered a series called The Killing Season, which looks at

the case of the Long Island serial killer.

I'm Kate Winkler Dawson, a non-fiction author and journalism professor in Austin, Texas.

I'm also the host of the Historical True Crime Podcast, Tenfold More Wicked on Exactly Right.

I've traveled around the world interviewing people for the show.

Joshua Zeman is a filmmaker in New York City and he has a new true crime

documentary series called The Sons of Sam, A Descent into Darkness. It's streaming

now on Netflix and it's about the hunt for the Son of Sam killer and the rabbit hole

that Josh goes down trying to prove that David Berkowitz did not act alone.
