I want to tell you about my podcast Buried Bones on Exactly right. It's a historical true crime

podcast that I co-host with the brilliant Paul Hole's. As a journalist I've spent

the last 25 years writing about true crime and as a retired cold case investigator Paul has worked on some of America's most complicated cases and solve them.

Together using our individual expertise we examine historical true crime cases through a

21st century lens. Buried bones is a study of the criminal mind and a reflection

of just how far we've come.

killings at least when they concluded. They went on for 29 months,

24 to 29 months, depending on where you'd call

the end of the last victim.

We had six to seven victims, all young black women, all sexually assaulted.

What really stood out for me when we were looking at this project was this was an

unsolved serial killing crime in the nation's capital.
