There's a lot of strange things out there.

Is there anything that's too strange for you?

Have you ever come across something that said, oh boy, this is a little bit much for me?

No.

That's the short answer if if some story endures like

the you know I have a journalistic background right so if a story is enduring that

means it's it's a force to be reckoned with in some way if it's stuck around you know I

mean if someone makes something up like you know you've got your own BS meter that you listen to and you go, I don't know,

that doesn't sound like it's quite true to me. And then I might pass on it. But if it's endured,

in some way, I at least have to ask why. And if nothing else, even if you don't believe in

aliens or monsters or ghosts or the hereafter or whatever, you still have to ask yourself, why does the story stick around?

Even if it defies logic.

And what's the reason?

What purpose does it serve?

Because the story itself can become a living, breathing thing.

I mean, it's a, a legend is something that literally exists. And the only way a legend dies is if we stop talking about it. And that's not one person's decision. It's a collective decision. So if one person says, hey, I went to the Lizzie Borden House and Fall River, I didn't see a ghost, therefore it's not haunted. Well, that's like saying, I went outside today.

Lightning didn't strike. Therefore, there's no such thing as lightning. Well, you got lucky today.

You know, there was no storm in the sky. But sometimes lightning strikes, and we talk about it.

And sometimes lightning strikes again, even in the same place, even though the expression tells us
