Welcome to season three of the Jada Edwards podcast. You'll get a little bit of Bible teaching, some great stories, and some great interviews along the way.

0:13.1

Jada. Yeah, yeah. All right. So you have this mini series that you did last season where we're diving into life stories.

0:21.3

Yes.

0:21.9

What was your idea behind starting that mini series?

0:24.6

Why did that come into fruition?

0:26.9

By the way, I think we're going to pick that back up just so, you know.

0:31.0

Y'all Dahlia is my like executive chief of staff, chief of my life, all the things.

0:35.9

So anyway, yeah, that came into my mind because I just think stories are so important.

0:41.5

And I think it's called the best story you've never heard because I think I just started looking

0:47.1

through podcasts and listening and even events, you know, in the Christian world.

0:52.2

And I felt like I kept seeing the same names and the same

0:54.3

people. And I'm like, once you've heard this person's story, you've heard they give an interview, what are they saying on the 12th podcast in the same, in the same few months? I mean, if they've written a book or something new, but I think so often it felt recycled. And there's great value to what a lot, you know, a lot of the content that's out there,

1:12.3

but I kept thinking how many people have amazing stories that no one will ever hear. And so,

1:17.9

I love people. I really do love people. It's not always the same as liking people, but I love

1:24.9

people. I love their stories. And just think that testimony even you look at the

1:30.4

end of scripture we overcame by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony testimony

1:35.6

and story is so important. It's so important and it's I love teaching the Bible. Story is a part of the

1:40.6

Bible like when I teach a scripture I'm thinking about who Matthew was,

1:44.8

who Paul was, who Peter was. Like story, even if you're not in the Old Testament narrative where

1:49.4

the content is a story, there's still story. And so I just think they're powerful and I wanted

1:55.3

to give them a platform. And because we're in a local church and because I disciple and meet people all the time, there's no shortage of content. I keep meeting people. And we've all met people and you're talking to them and you're like, what? Is that your life? Like running back. Yes. Or are they talking to you? And you're like, yeah, this is my life. And someone else is going, what? And you don't realize. You don't realize how powerful your. Yes. So that's why I love it. And I can't wait to start it back up again.

2:21.3

Cool. Well, it's so many resources that are out there. So many personality tests and all of that. So as somebody who's sitting and listening to this story who might not know their own, what's the steps that you can take to figure out your own life story?
