It seems to me like so many of the most important and often controversial issues in our culture today connect in some way, usually a pretty direct way, to our embodied selves, our embodied lives.

I mean, it's a perennial issue in the sense of we all have bodies, we all need to think about our bodies. But you're right, there are so many areas of cultural life and particularly

of a lot of the things we're talking about. So it seems to be a thread in a lot of the issues

that we're discussing. And I was finding pasturally as well, everything from gender identity
