Every marriage has ups and down, sometimes some big swings, and if you've been going through

a rough patch for a while now, it's understandable that you might be feeling a little

the benefits of working things out oftentimes really outweigh the alternatives.

But, you know, the idea of a renaissance is really, I think, a good metaphor for what we're going to be talking about today,

which is really understanding the ebbs and flows of long-term relationships and how to breathe

new life into a marriage that could go either way.
