I'm very happy with the way it's turned out,

except for the final chapter.

The denouement is giving me trouble.

So I'm currently digging in for the fourth rewrite of this little chapter.

I think I finally got it right, but I'm only halfway through so far, so we'll have to wait and

see.

At any rate, four rewrites is still a heck of a lot better than the 39

rewrites Ernest Hemingway did on the last chapter of a Farewell to Arms.

Something nifty I discovered this week is how to use Windows 7 speech recognition tool to control my computer.

The repetitive stress injuries in my wrists, and yes, it's wrist plural now, have gotten steadily

worse this summer.

So being able to control my computer with my voice is not only super cool, but may also end

up being just the trick for taking some of the stress off my hands.

The techno geek living inside of me is still giggling ecstatically over the whole discovery.
