Hey, everybody, what's going on? Josh Wiggler here with some very exciting news that perhaps your podcast

Audi is unaware of. That's right. Severance, Severance Season 2, it is finally almost here.

January 17th, 2025 is the return of Apple TV Plus's Severance. One of my very favorite shows on TV. It's almost three years exactly since Severance

premiered. So if you don't remember the show at all, totally understandable. If you've

never seen the show at all, I highly advise you to check it out. The elevator pitch that I

would give you is think about lost with all of its desert island mysteries and then think about

the office with all of its crazy corporate shenanigans and then sandwich those two guys together, throw Adam Scott

from Parks and Recreation into it. Christopher Walken, you could throw him in here too for some reason

and have it all be directed by none other than Ben Stiller and suddenly we're talking about severance.

As for the plot, it's convoluted and really, really fun.

But the basic premise is it's about a bunch of people who decide to sever themselves.

It's a procedure that one can undergo where you will not have any access to your work memories.

You basically go to work, you shut your brain off, you leave work, and your brain's back

on.

That sounds fun, right?

You don't remember anything about your nine to five.

There's just one twist.

Who's the person who's going to work?

And so the show really explores that, that the any, that's the name of the person who goes to work, is going through

a lot at Lumen Industries, this very mysterious, shady corporation that the show is all about.

Adam Scott plays Mark Scout and also plays Mark S, that's his Audi, that's his inny, and both of these versions of the character

are trying to figure out what's up with Lumen, why are they so shady, what is it that they
