because they thought their pager was good enough.

Or had no interest in an iPhone because their blackberry was so much better.

My friend's technology matters. It always wins.

It's interesting. I was sitting backstage and thinking about this talk.

I've had the fortune of having a lot of friends.

I've spoken at other events within the mortgage-brokering community.

Really, what's fascinating about it is it's a sector of business that I feel very close to

because I have a lot of understanding of entrepreneurship, salesmanship,

reputation, being a distributor of multiple products.

There's just a lot of kinship that I feel for this room.

It's interesting as I was walking the word that was coming through my mind was actually,

instead of what I often do in these talks, which is really try to paint a picture

and through sheer will and motivation and just energy, have deep hope that I can get one to five people

and actually start executing on the incredible arbitrage that is available to this collective room

to make what they want to happen, which is no matter who you are in this room,

you need to tell a story to compel somebody to do something with you.

What's interesting is the word that really resonated to me in the back was compassion and empathy,

which is to say, I've been thinking a lot over the last three months.
