What's up everyone Kevin from Epic Gardening here and today we have a really cool week kicking off I'm really excited about it actually because a

Instagram connection which is seems to be how I'm meeting almost all my gardening friends these days.

So if you're not on gardening Instagram, I know the online world can sometimes be kind of unfriendly with the comments and all that stuff, but I don't know.

The gardening world seems very friendly and no further evidence of that

than my friend B aka Flora Kocinozina who's gonna be on the podcast this week

she's actually in the Epic Gardening Studio this time, which is a rarity.

And we're talking about edible flowers, which I think is a category that most people don't think about in the

garden, and certainly one that I have chronically underutilized in the garden as well.

So I'm really excited to have her here.

And why don't you just start off by kind of giving people a little background

on who you are and kind of answer the question of why edible flowers.

Why edible flowers?

Edible flowers are beautiful.

They are the quintessential organic product, I think, and it's a way of bringing beauty into your plate but also nutrition and

and a whole just layers of benefits really.

And you have more experience in cooking with them rather than growing them,

but you've recently been getting into growing them as well, right?

Exactly.

Okay, and so what would you say was like the impetus?

Like why did you gravitate towards edible flowers versus the many other things I guess that could be cultivated in the garden.
