at Packaday podcast. It is Thursday. It is the start of March Madness. It is a beautiful time of

year. Hope your brackets are filled up beautifully. Hope you get all your picks right. It should be a very fun time. And yeah, it's one of my favorite

of the entire year just going through. And for me, I watch some college basketball during the

college basketball season, usually little Badgers, little Marquette, little UWGB in Milwaukee here

and there. But for the most part, the tournament is almost self-contained and all the stories and all the glory. It should be a ton of fun. Hope you guys enjoyed as much as I know I will. A couple news and notes before we get into our main topic today. Replacement referees. It went so well. Last time the NFL decided to go with replacement referees that we might

just get part two.

And I say good.

I say good because the replacement referees are in debt to the Green Bay Packers.

They owe us one.

They owe the Green Bay Packers a debt from the fail marry so many years ago.

But no, in all seriousness, that would freaking suck.

And NFL, you are a gazillion dollar business. Pay your damn referees. I get that there's a

limit and there's a negotiation and it's a two-way street and you got to figure out a compromise.

I get it. Do not let a stupid thing like this compromise your product. And it compromised it last time. So don't do it

again. So hopefully the NFL and the referees association can get this figured out. And we don't

have to do the whole replace referee thing. It's probably good that there's these threats already

because these things sort of sometimes spur action. And I'm sure the NFL wants that sort of

response. We have a long way to go.
