OK, so I get this question a lot.

You know, I get it in articles from media members.

I get it when I'm on a podcast and they'll say things like what advice would you give to

a young person coming straight out of the workforce out of college into the workforce?

And when I get that question, I think my instinctive answer almost always the first thing I say

is act like you own the company.

The best way to start well for a young person who's coming into the workforce for some

time is act like you own the company.

Now you have to stipulate that doesn't mean you walk around telling everybody else what

to do.

What it means is is that it is a posture by which you treat your job as if it is the job

of being the owner.

So the owner dies with a company, right?

The owner will do anything for the health of the company.
