what Paul tells Timothy. We're going to look at 12 commands. This week is command

number two avoid apostates. So we're going to talk about apostasy and that's

where Paul's going in his instructions to Timothy. An apostate is someone

who's a betrayer. They're a double agent in the ancient Greek world. The word

was used in war and battle. It's also used in the New Testament where let's say
