0:00.0	I want you to think for a minute here at the beginning about someone in your life who has rejected Jesus.
0:12.7	A particular person.
0:15.3	Who is someone in your life who has rejected Jesus.
0:24.0	Why did he or she reject Jesus?
0:31.3	What was it about Him that has driven them away?
0:55.7	May that has driven them away. Maybe the Christians that they know have disappointed or even hurt them. Maybe they have some bad church experience and they're not going back there.
1:00.9	Or they're sinning in a relationship and they're not willing to stop.
1:07.1	Maybe they had a child who came out as a homosexual.
1:14.6	And they couldn't tolerate what the Bible says about homosexuality.
1:22.6	Maybe they look at all the suffering in the world.
1:24.6	Wars and poverty and cancer. And they just can't make themselves
1:33.3	believe that a good God might be over all of that. Maybe they can't stomach hell.
1:43.7	Eternal conscious torment.
1:52.0	I think that question is what our passage is all about this morning.
1:57.5	Why would anyone hate and reject Jesus?
2:04.9	And why would anyone love and follow him?
2:12.7	Let me pray.
2:17.0	Father, with those faces and names fresh on our minds, fresh on our hearts,
2:26.5	people we love who don't love you, not yet, we pray that you would save them.
2:37.3	Call them home to you.
2:38.7	Even today would you do it?
2:41.3	Let today be the day of salvation.
