Everything that we do as believers, everything we do as the church is based upon a script that we follow, and it's the Bible.

It's the Word of God.

This is the foundation of everything for us, and this is the truth.

We live in a world that rejects the truth. People are talking a lot about cancel culture. That's been true of every generation since the fall.

Because Satan is a liar and the father of lies and a deceiver and

his agents are disguised as angels of light, but in reality they are demons of deception.

The world has always been filled with deception.

In fact, it's so normal that in John 8, Jesus said this,

because I speak the truth, you do not believe me.

You're so hardwired in your sin and fallenness. You're so much a child of Satan that because I speak the truth, you do not believe me.

He also said, he who is of God hears the words of God.

For this is the reason you do not hear them, because you're not of God.

That is a diagnosis of why there is so much deception in the world.

You're not of God.
