Stimulating the body with caffeine can actually make fatigue worse. Instead of masking the problem, you need to get to the root cause of fatigue. Once you address it, you can often get rid of chronic fatigue completely.

Not getting enough sleep significantly affects cognitive function. It also impacts blood sugar, increasing cravings and leading to more snacking. If you have insomnia, focus on simple habits like taking long walks in nature during the day without your cell phone, stretching before bed, dimming the lights at night, and avoiding snacking before sleep.

If your blood sugar is constantly going up and down, you’re going to feel tired. Even if there’s plenty of food available, your cells aren’t getting the fuel they need. One of the key solutions is to eliminate sugar and excess carbs from the diet.

A slow thyroid, histamines, latent viruses, and electrolyte imbalances are some of the most common hidden causes of fatigue. Even a lack of sun exposure could be the reason behind chronic fatigue.

Today we're going to talk about fatigue. A lot of people are tired, but you have to realize that fatigue and being tired is a symptom.

0:07.0

It's not the root cause. And so if you treat the symptom, you're never going to get better.

0:11.6

And this is why so many people taking the energy drinks and trying to stimulate their body with more caffeine, they just make themselves worse.

0:18.1

If you could identify the root cause of your fatigue,

0:21.3

you can easily get rid of it. All right, number one, let's talk about insomnia fatigue.

0:26.5

Now, there's many different reasons why people can't sleep. Maybe they're getting up several

0:30.7

times a night, urinating, maybe they have sleep apnea where they can't breathe, maybe they

0:35.6

have cramps in lower calves. Maybe they have

0:38.0

restless like syndrome. So the problem with not sleeping is that it's going to really affect

0:43.3

the cognitive function, especially if someone's talking to you. You're going to have a hard

0:47.0

time keeping your attention because the cognitive function's not there. The other thing you need

0:51.6

to know about a lack of sleep is it really in a severe way affects

0:56.0

your blood sugar. So you're going to want to snack more. You're going to crave the wrong foods.

1:00.9

For insomnia, you want to go for long walks every single day without your cell phone in nature.

1:08.2

And I find that I can sleep much better after a long walk. Before bed, I would highly

1:12.3

recommend doing a lot of stretches. I would also keep your lights dimmed very nicely. But the

1:17.9

worst thing you can do is snack before you go to bed. So you have to eliminate that. Let's go to

1:22.0

number two, blood sugar fatigue. If your blood sugar is going up and down and up and down, you are going to be tired.

1:31.1

But not for the reason you think. It's really because your cells are starving for fuel,

1:37.2

despite having a lot of food available. If you just take a look at a diabetic, what is a diabetic?

1:41.9

It's someone who has high blood glucose. But the problem is

1:45.8
