At the core of what we are celebrating in these days of the

Hijjah may Allah SWT accept our good deeds in these days and beyond.

Allah ma amin. Is the willingness of our father Ibrahim

alihi salam to sacrifice anything and everything for the sake of Allah

SWT. And it's very interesting because at the core of that is a

question. When Allah SWT commands Ibrahim alihi salam to

sacrifice his son. Why would a man sacrifice his son? Allah

SWT commands Ibrahim alihi salam to take the most beloved thing in

the world to him. His most precious possession. Realize at

this point, his hack is not even born yet. His Ma'il is his

only son after a long wait. And Allah SWT commands him to

sacrifice him. And Subhanallah you'll find that there will be

those that would criticize Ibrahim alihi salam out of their

arrogance and their ignorance to say that there's something wrong

with Ibrahim alihi salam. And what is it about this religion?

What is it about this man? That this is a praiseworthy act. And so

I wanted to focus on this inshallah this question but not just

answer it from an intellectual perspective but really in a way

that spiritually productive for us as well. Number one, Allah

SWT says in the Quran and it is what we will end this hot

la wa'il, in the Allah Ya Muru bil Adli wa l-Ihsan. Allah
